So läuft es abHow it works

Du schreibst uns. Über das Formular unten — wichtig ist die E-Mail-Adresse deines Google-Kontos, denn darüber läuft der Zugang im Play Store. You get in touch via the form below. The important part is the email address of your Google account — that's what the Play Store access is tied to.
Wir tragen dich als Tester ein und schicken dir den Play-Store-Link. Ab da installierst du PortStory ganz normal über den Play Store. We add you as a tester and send you the Play Store link. From there you install PortStory the usual way.
Du nutzt die App. Am hilfreichsten ist es, wenn du sie über mindestens zwei Wochen hinweg installiert lässt und ab und zu reinschaust. You use the app. It helps most if you keep it installed for at least two weeks and open it now and then.
Du sagst uns, was auffällt. Per E-Mail, formlos. Ein Satz reicht — auch „läuft alles" ist eine nützliche Rückmeldung. You tell us what you notice. By email, informally. One sentence is enough — even "all fine" is useful feedback.

Nein. Der Test ist kostenlos und es wird nichts abgebucht. Es gibt kein Abo, das im Hintergrund startet. No. Testing is free and nothing is charged. There is no subscription starting quietly in the background.

Brauche ich ein Android-Gerät?Do I need an Android device?

Für den Play-Store-Test ja. PortStory läuft aber auch als Web-App im Browser — die kannst du jederzeit ohne Anmeldung unter portstory.app/app ausprobieren. For the Play Store test, yes. But PortStory also runs as a web app in any browser — try it any time at portstory.app/app.

Was passiert mit meiner E-Mail-Adresse?What happens to my email address?

Sie wird genutzt, um dich als Tester im Play Store einzutragen und dir zu antworten. Keine Weitergabe an Dritte, kein Newsletter ohne deine Zustimmung. Nach dem Test wird sie aus der Testerliste entfernt. It's used to add you as a tester in the Play Store and to reply to you. No sharing with third parties, no newsletter without your consent. After the test it is removed from the tester list.

Wie viel Zeit kostet mich das?How much time does it take?

So viel, wie du möchtest. Hilfreich ist, die App über etwa zwei Wochen installiert zu lassen und gelegentlich zu öffnen. Alles Weitere ist freiwillig. As much as you like. It helps to keep the app installed for around two weeks and open it occasionally. Everything beyond that is voluntary.

Ich bin Crew — lohnt sich das für mich?I'm crew — is this useful for me?

PortStory has dedicated contract management: position, ship and season with stats per contract, sea days and ports called. That's exactly where we're looking for real-world feedback.
